a sefton park wedding

bride and groom in liverpool walking through confetti

every liverpool wedding photographer will have a venue in mind that they want to shoot at, or love visiting – for me it was the iconic palm house in the middle of sefton park, so i was delighted when steph & ian asked me along for their scouse wedding day in such a stunning place.

steph & ian went for the whole hog of photography packages – starting the day with the bridal prep all the way through to the dancefloor, and i’m so glad they did! not only does this mean they get a ton of photos to look back on of almost the entire day, but it gives plenty of time for everyone to relax in front of the camera and really takes the pressure off.

once everyone was ready it was off to the palm house, with the wedding party travelling in style in classic cars. the weather was, thankfully, absolutely gorgeous. the groom and his ushers were there early which gave them time to relax and, inevitably, dick about a bit which helped diffuse a few nerves.

on to the main event – the groom’s nerves at their highest as steph arrived and was walked down the aisle by her two dads, a really lovely moment. after the tension was broken, a really beautiful ceremony followed – highlighted by such a lovely venue.

as the guests were given the chance to grab a beer and relax in the confines of the beautiful palm house, steph & ian took a walk around the grounds to get some stunning photos in the sunshine, complete with friends and family. the joys of having a nice sunny day and a good amount of time!

speeches, drinks, food – the chance to unwind before the band arrived and everyone put on their dancing shoes to see out a wonderful day for steph & ian. thank you for choosing me as your photographer!
