Marple Music Night for R.E.A.CH charity; being a music photographer again
It was nice to get back behind the camera to shoot a gig as it had been a decent amount of time since my last one – certainly a far cry from the full-time days of 3 or 4 a week, as much as i miss being a permanent music photographer! so i was delighted to be asked to cover the marple music night, an event raising money for a brilliant cause – R.E.A.CH.
first group up was the local raintown seers, an americana band by way of florida and stockport.
next up was the multi-instrumentalist 6 piece, lazlo baby, describing themselves as balkanic folksy ska, so there you have it. they had the crowd up and dancing anyway:
a good time had by all, as they say, raising thousands for east african children and getting people out of their seats.
